Staring Backwards is a collective act of transforming public space through a simple gesture. 
We walk backwards together, looking at the world we are leaving behind. 
Observing the changing scenes, looking into the distance, taking another step backwards: is it the beginning of a revolution?

Staring Backwards is a site-specific participatory project: the proposal is to inhabit a park and square within the city in which it is proposed and to implement a transformation of the place through a simple and completely unusual gesture.

Staring Backwards involves a group of people in a workshop and performance process: participants answer an open call, where no previous theatrical or performance training is required.


The workshop is open to people with disabilities, who are asked to get in touch with the production in advance to better understand how they can be integrated into the work.
